The MetaFAIR application profile (AP) was developed by the Metadata Lab team with the intent of reinforcing research data management (RDM) while making research data abide by the FAIR data principles.
In the words of the authors, “MetaFAIR focuses on accommodating description needs particular to computational social science datasets while seeking to provide general enough elements to describe data collections across many different domains,” (Tompkins, V.T. et. al, 2021).
