As per the invitation on behalf of the Journal of Information and Data Science (JDIS), Jian Qin has given a presentation on metadata analytics at the 3rd International Conference on Data-driven Knowledge Discovery. The presentation, entitled Evaluating the Impact of Collaboration Enablers through Metadata Analytics discusses topics such as using GenBank’s metadata as a source for quantitative studies of team science.
In order to better investigate the influence of cyberinfrastructure (CI) – enabled collaboration networks on scientific capacity and knowledge diffusion, further insight into their relationship with early stage data production must be gained.
